authentic atmosphere, the server was attentive, and great food. The Palak paneer stood out with deep flavors, but the fish Madras was a bit one dimensional with it's tomato based sauce and the fish (cod?) was a bit dry. Would go back for other dishes.

Ambience- good stuffFood was good and so was the service. The server was amazing, friendly and responsive.

I am scared to order from this place as they use a lot of artificial food color in their butter chicken and the food tastes weird. Ordered butter chicken and it took me a day and multiple hand washes to remove the orange food stains from my fingers. Spoke to the east Indian server, with a British accent about it and he denied it and was extremely rude that I even brought it up. Be aware!!!

Good food, Better Customer service! we have ordered here many times and today our chicken just tasted off. The rest of the dish was fine, it was just the chicken. I called and they offered either a credit for our next meal or to replace if I wanted to come back. We decided to go back to get a new dish and they were very apologetic. They were very kind and our new dish tastes great! They were very courteous when we explained what was wrong, without hesitation or any rude response they replaced everything. Point is, sometimes it happens and because of how they handled it we will be going back again!

Disappointing vegetarian dishes. Looked and tasted like frozen or canned veggies in sauce.

We ordered Veg kebab and Chilli Paneer from this restaurant today.Chilli paneer was so sweet that our hands were sticking and it was nothing but paneer dipped in Sugar Syrup.They delivered Very oily 2 small Aloo Tikkis on the name of Veg Kebab by charging $11 .WHEN WE CALLED HIM TO GIVE FEEDBACK HE HUNG UP INSTEAD OF ASKING APOLOGY. PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE TYPE OF RESTAURANTS IN TOWN. THEY WOULD NOT DESERVE EVEN 1 BECAUSE ITS NOTHING BUT CHEATING CUSTOMERS

Save your money. This is not a real Indian restaurant. Any of the other reviews that say the food is good are fake. The food comes from a jar. It is tasteless and bland. The prices are lower than real Indian restaurants but don't be fooled. You will not want to eat what they are serving. Half way through our meal, the waiter realized we were not impressed. After that, he refused to come back to the table. I had to yell out loudly, "Excuse me! We would like to leave now." Even then, he served another table before clearing our plates and bringing the bill. Try Palkis on 15th and lonsdale, way more authentic and goid service.

Scotty suggested the goat and spinach curry to me. I had never tried goat before but he assured I was in for a treat, and boy it was! Would definitely order again. 👌

As someone who has lived in Mumbai for a very, very long time this is as far from any kind of Mumbai cuisine as it can be. In fact it is terrible North Indian food. I would have given it 3 stars if the food was good but it isn't. And the service is equally bad.

If I could give this minus 5 I would! Save your money. The food here is horrible. I ordered to go, my husband and I couldn't even eat it. The vindaloo had a few small pieces of meat that were dried out (must have been from the day before) the daal tasted like cinnamon. On top of the horrible food - the manager that I spoke to said he would credit me back in full. Just got my statement and got less than half back. Service to match the food! Save your money and don't go here.

Love this place every time we go! Food is always fresh, service is always great! 👌🏻We would recommend the butter chicken, the Chana masala, the basmati rice, the naan, the chilli chicken, and basically everything on the menu! Worst food ever. I wonder if restaurant people themselves given 5 star in some below reviews bcz its not even worth for 1 rating.

I ordered through Doordash. This is the second time I've ordered form Mumbai. First time was only okay. This last time was enough to not go back. The vegetable vindaloo was flavorless. The peas looked like they were out of a can. You know that pale "not fresh" look? The mutter pulao was also disappointing. $20 at my regular local place is soooo much better, bursting in flavor and authentic.

Butter chicken was absolutely horrible and for some reason could taste tomato sauce (??????????), BUTTER nan had no butter whatsoever. Will not be ordering again.

First experience- Long waiting line. We gave our name and number to call while we were standing out( rest. doesn’t has room for standing while waiting) . No body called us and they were simply not bothered about people waiting outside. We noticed that they didn’t honour waiting list and when asked , we were told to wait another 30 more mins. I didn’t mind and went to other rest near by. Second time- my friend wanted to try the place anyways. So we went again next day. We can confirm that food is not Authentic Mumbai food. It’s did not taste close to even Indian food, Mumbai speciality would be too far to ask for. We have so many better restaurants in downtown if someone is willing to try Indian food and enjoy rich delicacy. I didn’t review first time because it could have been mistakes from assistant . But food is what we are paying for. So decided to review for honest opinion. Sorry- Was not worth of money and time. I liked the name though !

Service and food was great. Stopped at park and tilford to kill some time. Popped into the restaurant. Scotty was great, friendly and knowledgeable. He asked me what I was looking to order, said I was un sure, he made a recommendation and it turned out great!
